Taylor's Story

Taylor was born & raised in San Diego.
The youngest of 3, her siblings 13 & 15 years older, she spent a lot of time at her mom's salon growing up. Her grandmother, mother and sister are all hairstylists, along with herself. So, the salon is a comforting place to her; since she was pretty much born & raised in the salon. Growing up, she was a tomboy, but had a soft spot for the girlier things as well. While she would go out and play football with the neighborhood boys, she would also make sure in the morning that her hair & makeup was perfect for school.
Although, everyone wanted her to go to SDSU for nursing, her heart couldn't do it. She decided that she had to follow her dreams of being a hairstylist. So her & her mom snuck a couple months after graduating high school to a Cosmetology school & signed her up! Unfortunately, some people weren't too thrilled. However, after starting and seeing her continuously succeed people warmed up & realized just how serious this decision was & how serious this career actually is.
Now that she's been doing it for almost 3 years she is beyond happy. Her passion is to make people look and feel beautiful everyday & she does that. It's an amazing feeling. It always makes her day when a client leaves her chair with a huge smile on their face because SHE transformed them.
It definitely seems like she made the right career choice! She loves her career with a deep passion & wouldn't change it for the world.
